Francis’ work investigates landscape through changing light, weather and the seasons.

He paints smaller works and studies on location, developing these ideas into large scale paintings in the studio.

Francis studied fine art practice and theory at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton before completing a postgraduate scholarship at the Royal Drawing School, London.

His paintings and drawings are held in public and private collections across the UK and Europe.
